So long January

My new year’s resolution to not buy any clothes for a year lives on. There have been a couple of times…where I just almost cracked.

For instance, when I went to the mall to get my rings cleaned

…that was a mistake.

Oh, or when fossil told me they had free shipping.

For that matter, when Gap, Old Navy, and Banana reminded me that I always get free shipping…and sent me a coupon.

I did however, find an amazing alterations lady for my bridesmaid’s dress…so I’ve decided if I really feel like I need something new, I’ll just go get something old altered!

 (okay, that may be finding a loophole in my resolution…but loopholes are all they teach you in law school!)

Also, I finally finished 40 paper flowers…so I believe my job is done for now! I’ll give myself a little pat on the back for that one!

However, I am still in search for a new hair clip for the wedding. I loved the one I made…and am now having second thoughts because it is a single strap dress, with large flowers on the strap.

Because of that, I’m afraid it will be flower overload with the hair clip I made.

So here is me trying to look for ideas. I’ve found to sets of bobby pins from Urban Outfitters I LOVE! Especially since Brittney is going with the “wood” theme. (no pun intended since her last name will be "Wood")

Sadly, I must admit, they just wont look right.

So back to the drawing board! Thankfully since I cut so much off the dress, I've got alot of extra fabric...but I just cant think of somthing "simple" to make! I'm open to suggestions here!
