Friday while walking out to my car after classes, I was putting my books away in my back seat and this guy walked up behind me. So in my head I’m thinking “Kid…go around me.” And he didn’t move. He just stood there. So I turned around to ask what he needed…and there was Kevin.
I hate surprises. Seriously, not kidding at all. But this one was a good one (after the initial shock). I think I just sorta stood there. After a bit I said something like “uh…does my aunt know you’re coming? We should give her a heads up that you’ll be staying there.”
But so far it’s been a great weekend!
We’ve had loads of family in town. Like Eli!
He is my half Jewish, full vegetarian, 4 year old cousin. Well… second cousin. Eli is the closest thing to a baby we’ve had on either side of my family for about 10 years. And he is pretty crazy!
Kevin and I baked a cake for Emily’s birthday.
We tried to make one with a heart in it, from this tutorial but…
Yeah, I’m not patient enough to make it look right. Next time, I will learn….maybe.
Oh and Alex, Kevin and I all enjoyed building a marble set.
They learned I do not play well with others, and I would rather build it my way. (sorry again guys!)
So its been the best weekend I’ve had in a while!
