Blogger Bonanza {Button Monogram}

Hello everyone! My name is Emily and my blog is In The Life of Emily. I am a blogger, avid reader, photographer, crafter, and lover of my family, boyfriend and friends! 

I have always loved crafting....and then pinterest came around. This took my crafting to a whole other level. I'm not even sure how I came up with ideas before this magnificent website! I basically have my whole life planned from it....and entirely too many crafts pinned to ever accomplish! *if you need an invite, please let me know!*

I have made a few crafts from pinterest inspiration.....

Now my latest craft is no exception. I got the idea from pinterest as well. Seriously, I find the best and most unique crafting ideas on there!

I used a mini-canvas I got in a pack of 3 at Michael's, an assortment of buttons from Michael's & Wal-Mart, glue gun, scissors, and paper/pencil.

I first painted my canvas. Then, I traced my initial on a piece of paper then cut it out.

I began (strategically) placing the buttons on my outline of my 'E' and then started gluing them down. Now, since they are all circles, they will not line up exactly right, but don't let the perfectionist in you get frustrated like I did. :)

 Voila!  

The final product! I think it would look very cute hung on my door, or just propped up against my desk! I would love to see if anyone else makes this!
