Tie Chair

I got this wonderful idea from a shop while I was in New Orleans not so long ago! 

Here was what I saw in the window for a retail store display. 

Thanks to our goodwill wearhouse (which I love so much since it is all the rejects from the other goodwills...and dirt cheap prices!) I picked up this chair for $1.50. 

Took off the bottom

And then weaved ties across the chair (I folded them in half first, so they wouldn't hang too low)

Now is for the staple gun or upholstery tacks! I would suggest staple gun, and then tacks in addition if you're looking for something extra cute!

I've sat in it- so it certainly holds weight, but I wouldn't let the kids jump on it!
